What we collect from customers

• Account details: your email address and a securely hashed password.
• Your projects: the websites you add, your widget settings, the explainers we generate, and any files you upload.
• Public website content: to draw an explainer, we read the publicly available pages of the website you add.
• Billing details: if you subscribe, our payment provider handles your card; we keep only your plan, subscription status and a customer reference.
• Usage of our own website: privacy-friendly, cookie-free page analytics that don't identify you.

Visitors to our customers' websites

When someone visits a website that uses KnowQuickly, the widget loads the explainer from our servers. The widget sets no cookies and doesn't track visitors. Like any web server, our hosting provider may briefly log technical data such as IP addresses to keep the service secure and working.

How we use it

• To provide KnowQuickly: generating, storing and serving your explainers.
• To run your account: sign-in, billing, and essential service emails.
• To keep KnowQuickly secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.

We don't sell personal data, and we don't use your content to advertise to you.

Service providers we rely on

• Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage.
• Vercel: hosting and cookie-free analytics.
• Anthropic: AI processing of the public website text used to draw explainers.
• Our email provider: sign-in and account emails.
• Our payment provider: subscriptions and invoices, when you buy a plan.

They process data on our behalf, under their own security and privacy commitments, and only for these purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account is open. Deleting a project deletes its explainers and uploads. When you close your account we delete your data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law, such as invoices.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email support@knowquickly.co and we'll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted per account at the database level, and passwords are never stored in plain text. No system is perfectly secure, but we take protecting your data seriously.

Children

KnowQuickly is a business tool and isn't intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and tell you by email about significant changes.
